The DayZ dedicated server is downloaded through Steam, and only an account that owns the game can install it. So you need a Steam account that owns DayZ, with Steam Guard disabled, otherwise the automatic installation cannot log in. Yes, and that is what we recommend. Disabling Steam Guard makes an account less secure, so it is better to do it on a secondary account dedicated to the server rather than on your main account. That account just needs to own DayZ.

Yes, whenever you decide. World persistence (bases, storage, vehicles) is saved in the server files, which you can reset yourself. Make a backup first.
